Two faculty members and two students from Fort Hays State University's Department of Information Networking and Telecommunications Department recently attended the "Digital Broadband Migration: Writing the Next Telecommunications Act" conference at the University of Colorado, Boulder

FHSU faculty attending were Dr. Mark Bannister, chair of the INT Department, and Jon Tholstrup, instructor of INT. Students were Kameron Davis, Haysville senior, and Jason Zeller, Assaria junior.

This conference included presentations by Federal Communications Commission Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein; Federal Trade Commission Commissioner Jon Leibowitz; Jim Crowe, CEO of Level3; and many of the nation's top scholars in the field of telecommunications and information regulation.
