Information on Transition to Teaching program available at FHSU meeting

Bachelor's degree holders who are interested in becoming licensed K-12 teachers are invited to the College of Education and Technology at Fort Hays State University to see if they qualify for the Transition to Teaching program, an alternative path to teacher licensure.

The rapidly growing Transition to Teaching program allows a qualified candidate to be hired as a teacher in their content area and begin teaching right away while taking the online education classes concurrently.

The informational meeting is an opportunity for people to see if they qualify, to find out how the program works and to ask questions. Participants are asked to bring a copy of their college transcript, if possible. School personnel are also welcome to attend.

The session will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, in the Stouffer Lounge of FHSU's Memorial Union.
