Hays Symphony Orchestra to perform on Sunday

The Hays Symphony Orchestra will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Beach/Schmidt Auditorium in Sheridan Hall on the Fort Hays State University campus.

Under the direction of Dr. Jeff Jordan, assistant professor of music at FHSU, the orchestra will perform "Olympic Fanfare and Theme" by John Williams, "La Creation du Monde" by Darius Milhaud and "New York" by Michael Brown.

The Hays Symphony Orchestra is comprised of FHSU students and faculty and community members. The orchestra presents four concerts each season. The Hays Symphony Orchestra was selected to perform at the Kansas Music Educators Association Conference, held in Wichita in February.

Tickets are $4 for children and seniors and $6 for adults. Admission is free for FHSU students with their TigerCard IDs.
