Cirque-Works 'Birdhouse Factory' to perform at FHSU

Acrobatics, machines, theatre and circus become one in Cirque-Works "Birdhouse Factory" at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center in Sheridan Hall on the Fort Hays State University campus.

Acrobatics and early 20th-century machines come together for a spectacular presentation of laughter, love, flight, loss and birdhouses. "Birdhouse Factory" was inspired in part by Diego Rivera's Detroit Industrial Murals, illustrations of Rube Goldberg and Charlie Chaplin's film "Modern Times."

Tickets for reserved seats are $30, $28 for senior citizens and children under 18, and $25 for FHSU students. Unreserved tickets are $26, $24 and $20 respectively. To purchase individual or season tickets, visit the Student Service Center in the Memorial Union or order online at
