Three new faculty have been added to the list of hires for the 2007-2008 academic year at Fort Hays State University.
Brett Macklin accepted a full-time position as an instructor of health and human performance and as an assistant athletic trainer. He began work on Aug. 6. Macklin received an associate degree in athletic training from Cloud County Community College in 2002, a bachelor of science in athletic training from FHSU in 2004, and a master of science in health and human performance from FHSU in 2006. He previously served as the head athletic trainer, sport medicine coordinator and an instructor for Fort Scott Community College.
Jeffrey Pape accepted a full-time position as coordinator of mediated classrooms for the Computing and Telecommunications Center. He began on Aug. 13. Pape has 12 years of experience installing, maintaining and training users on a variety of computer hardware and software systems.
Lorilyn Sadler accepted a full-time position as an assistant for the Learning Commons, beginning work on Aug. 26. She received an associate of arts in accounting from Aims Community College in Greeley, Colo., in 1979 and a bachelor of science in business education from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, in 1982.
