Award-winning author to speak at FHSU

Award-winning author Chris Mooney will give a multi-media presentation on global warming at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 at Fort Hays State University's Robbins Center, home of the FHSU Foundation and Alumni Association and the FHSU Foundation.

Mooney, author of "Storm World: Hurricanes, Politics and the Battle Over Global Warming," will visit Kansas for the first time. His appearance is sponsored by the Keith Sebelius Speaker Fund, the FHSU Science and Mathematics Education Center and the Office of the Provost of FHSU.

The presentation is free and open to the public. Kansas Citizens for science will provide refreshments.
