FHSU professor featured in book about challenges to be defeated

Linn Ann Huntington, associate professor of communication studies at Fort Hays State University, has written a chapter that was accepted for publication in the book "Women and Success (A Celebration of Truth)."

Huntington's story is one of 11 chapters contributed by women from around the country. The book falls into the inspirational/religious genre.

"I told the publisher I didn't know how successful I have been in dealing with the challenges in my life in the past few years, but I have certainly experienced some!" said Huntington.

Her chapter is based on a column she originally wrote for The Hays Daily News in 2004. It deals with how she became a caregiver for her husband, Don. Other stories featured in the book are about the trials and adversities faced by the authors. They include experiences of sorrow and change and focus on how those experiences can be celebrated through the power of faith.

"Women and Success (A Celebration of Truth)" will be available at the FHSU Bookstore.
