Moss-Thorns Gallery to host Cultural Evolution and Diffusion Exhibition

The Moss-Thorns Gallery of Art at Fort Hays State University will soon be exhibiting works by 10 Japanese-American printmakers.

While the subject matter and style of the works vary, each artist maintains the link to his or her Japanese heritage. In all cases, the artists honor the long-standing Japanese printmaker's tradition of mastering one's craft.

This exhibit is in conjunction with the Fall Gallery Walk and is free and open to the public. The exhibit opening is Friday, Aug. 24 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. It will be on display from Aug. 24 – Sept. 14 at the Moss-Thorns Gallery of Art.

The Moss-Thorns Gallery of Art is located in Rarick Hall, Room 102, and is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
