Schlotterback holds exhibition in FHSU's Moss-Thorns Gallery of Art

"The Old Clown Balancing Act," a show of drawings and paintings by Thomas Schlotterback, will open Friday, April 27, with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Moss-Thorns Gallery of Art, Rarick Hall, room 102, on the campus of Fort Hays State University.

"Schlotterback was born and raised in Hays, but since then he has pursued an extensive career teaching, writing and creating vital and controversial images," said Mick Jilg, professor of art and director of the Moss-Thorns Gallery of Art.

The show will run through June 1. The gallery is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Starting on May 14, gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Fridays.
