FHSU to host grant writing workshop

Fort Hays State University's Leslie Paige, grants facilitator for the Graduate School and the Docking Institute of Public Affairs, will lead a grant writing for teachers workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 3, in Rarick Hall, room 231, on the FHSU campus.

"There are a lot of foundations like McDonald's, Toyota and Sony that teachers or private organizations can apply to for grants, and the workshop is designed to help them get those funds to implement their great ideas which require money," said Dr. Paul Adams, Anschutz Professor of Education. "Although the ideas that Mrs. Paige will present are more interesting for teachers, the ideas are beneficial for anyone."

The workshop is hosted by FHSU's Science and Mathematics Education Center. The cost is $15, and the public is invited.
