Students selected to attend Greek Council Association annual conference

Six students were selected to represent Fort Hays State University's Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Association at the Mid-America Greek Council Association's national conference from Feb. 22-25, 2007, in Chicago, Ill.

The MGCA is dedicated to providing leadership training and programming opportunities for staff and students from colleges and universities across the Midwest.

"While at the conference, the students will be networking, sharing and exchanging resources and ideas with students and professionals," said Chandra Daffer, assistant director of student activities. "The students will also be attending educational sessions addressing such topics as ethical leadership, time management, team building, decision making and communication skills."

Participating students are listed by hometown and classification:

DEERFIELD: Jade Landon, junior.
DE SOTO: Stephanie Bender, junior.
EFFINGHAM: Aaron Ladd, junior.
LYONS: Brent Frye, sophomore.
PHILLIPSBURG: Erik Willer, junior.
PRAIRIE VILLAGE: Emily Shoemaker, sophomore.
