Meng establishes scholarship at FHSU

Steve Meng, 1988 agribusiness graduate of Fort Hays State University, recently established the Base Camp Leasing Scholarship at FHSU.

Meng, Fishers, Ind., created the Base Camp Leasing Scholarship for students who are majoring in wildlife management or agribusiness at FHSU. He is currently the owner and operator of Base Camp Leasing, an agency that leases ground for hunting.

"With this award, I hope to increase awareness of the impact wildlife has on agriculture and our economy," said Meng.

Recipients of the scholarship must be full-time students with a minimum 3.0 grade-point average and must be employed part time during the academic year.
