Linda Ganstrom, Fort Hays State University's professor of art, is exhibiting her work in a California gallery and recently published two articles in an art journal.
Ganstrom entered a sculpture in a California exhibit, "Joined--Four Couples in Clay," at Armstrong's Gallery, which is associated with the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona, Calif. Opening on Feb. 10, the exhibit will feature the work of four couples through April 7, 2007.
She also published two articles in the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts Journal, which covered the 40th annual conference, "Exploration and Navigations: The Resonance of Place." Her articles are "The Stone That Was Cast Out Shall Become the Cornerstone: The Bodily Aesthetics of Human Meaning," pages 130-132, and "International Ceramics: Cross Cultural Perspectives," pages 136-138.
