Meier, Martin receive research award for paper

Two Fort Hays State University faculty members have won a research award for a paper on students and visual aids.

Dr. Robert Meier, professor of accounting and information systems, and Philip Martin, instructor of accounting and information systems, received the January 2007 International Academy of Business and Public Administration conference research award for the best paper for their article, "Detecting Mean Differences Among Business Majors Regarding their Perceptions of Effective Visual Aid Usage."

The International Academy of Business and Public Administration is a professional association dedicated to advancing the research, teaching and practice of management and business worldwide.

The paper was co-authored by Dr. Reginald Bell of Prairie View A&M University, Prairie View, Texas.
