Tickets are selling still available but are selling like hot cakes for the Fort Hays State University Holiday Dessert Show. The Fort Hays Singers and their conductor Terry Crull, instructor of music, will present four performances, all at the new Fox Pavilion in downtown Hays: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30; 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1; and two performances, 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., Sunday, on Dec. 3.
Tickets are $10.
"Due to construction in the Memorial Union, there will be no Madrigal Feaste this December," said Crull, "so in its place, we offer a wonderful evening of dessert and a fun holiday show suitable for the entire family."
Audiences will be able to enjoy cheesecake with a choice of coffee, tea or water. The Fort Hays Singers' main event will be a performance of a holiday story about a boy, St. George and a dragon.
"The entire evening will last but one hour, filled with delicious food and holiday cheer provided by the Fort Hays Singers," said Crull.
All ticket proceeds will all go to Fort Hays Singers members for a 10-day concert tour to Taiwan in May.
