Tiger supporters and friends are invited to get revved up for the Fort Hays State University vs. the University of Kansas Jayhawks women's basketball game by attending the FHSU Tiger Party, "Taking the Jayhawks by Storm," from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at Johnny's in Lawrence. The party is sponsored by the FHSU Alumni Association.
Dr. Edward Hammond, FHSU president, will attend with representatives from the Alumni Association, the Athletic Department and the Endowment Association to share the latest and greatest happenings at FHSU with guests. Hors d'oeuvres will be served, and door prizes will be awarded.
Alumni hosts include Tim Keller, a 1982 graduate, and his wife Judy; Bonnie Lowe, a 1983 graduate and current president of the Alumni Association, and her husband Jamie; Dennis Spratt, a 1971 graduate and a current member of the alumni Board of Directors, and his wife Sharon; John Tacha, a 1963 graduate and current member of the Endowment Association Board of Trustees, and his wife Deanell; and Nancy Vogel, FHSU professor emerita and current member of the Endowment Association Board of Trustees.
Advanced reservations are required at $7.50 each and may be obtained by contacting the FHSU Alumni Association at 1-888-351-3591. Tickets to the basketball game may be purchased at Allen Field House prior to the 7 p.m. game.
