Alumni and friends of Fort Hays State University can meet in the Fall River Room of The Golden Hotel, Golden, before the FHSU Tigers take on the Colorado School of Mines in an NCAA Division II matchup on Saturday, Sept. 9.
"Front Range Tigers: Head to the Mines – It's Party Time" is sponsored by the FHSU Alumni Association. The social will begin at 9:30 a.m. Mountain time with the brunch and Tiger Party at 10 a.m.
The Rocky Mountain Brunch will include a variety of delicious items while overlooking the mountains and Clear Creek. The football game will kick-off at noon. Tiger supporters and friends are invited to get revved up for the game while hearing the latest and greatest news from the university delivered by representatives of the Alumni Association, the athletic department, and the Endowment Association. Special guests will include Dr. Edward Hammond, FHSU president.
Advance reservations are required and may be obtained by contacting the FHSU Alumni Association toll free at 1-888-351-3591. Registration for adults is $10, students (age 6-12 years) are $5, and children age 5 or under are free. Tickets to the football game may be purchased at Brooks Field prior to the game. Alumni hosts are Stephen and Shari Tebo, Boulder. Stephen Tebo is a 1967 FHSU graduate.
