Fort Hays State University's Kansas Small Business Development Center is continuing the tradition of offering small businesses the resources necessary to compete against their larger counterparts with its "Energy Efficient" seminar.
Guest speakers from Aquila, Kansas Gas Service, Midwest Energy Inc. and the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development division will explain energy audits, natural gas costs, energy-saving conservation projects and more.
KSBDC is offering the seminar on three dates in three locations. Each seminar lasts for two hours and will begin at 7 p.m. The first is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 22, in Great Bend at Barton County Community College; the second for Wednesday, Aug. 23, in Hays at Fort Hays State University; and the third for Thursday, Aug. 24, in Colby at Colby Community College.
Refreshments will be provided.
