Three faculty members from Fort Hays State University's Department of Special Education and a recent graduate of the department made presentations at the Kansas State Department of Education Annual Conference in Overland Park on April 30, 2004.

Dr. Ronald Fahey, associate professor of special education/ESOL, co-presented a session, "Visually Cued Instruction for Students with Writing Disabilities," with Glenda Gibson, Garden City USD 457, on research completed during her M.S. in special education.

Dr. Linda Hyatt and Robb Scott, both assistant professors of special education, co-presented a session titled "Early Literacy Awareness and Early Childhood Interventions."
