FHSU printmakers make good showing in Colorado

Fort Hays State University's advanced printmaking group has a great representation of works in the 4th Annual Creede Arts Council National Small Print Exhibition in Creede, CO, according to printmaking teacher Gordon K. Sherman, associate professor of art.

Micah Craven, Hays senior, had all three eligible prints accepted, Shannon MacDonald, Hays junior, had one print accepted, Jonathon Russell, West Frankfort, IL, graduate student, had two prints accepted, Bang Wool Han, Seoul, South Korea, graduate student, had two prints accepted and Sherman had two prints accepted, one of which received the third-place award.

Juror for the exhibition was Dennis Dalton, professor of art at the University of Southern Colorado. The exhibit will be on display from May 29-June 27.
