Graduating seniors nominate 31 faculty members for Pilot Award for outstanding faculty

HAYS, KS -- Thirty-one faculty members at Fort Hays State University have been nominated by graduating seniors for the 2004 Pilot Award.

The award is given annually by the Alumni Association to an outstanding faculty member. Nominations for the 2004 award are made by seniors graduating in December 2003 or in spring or summer 2004.

The winner will be announced at the Graduate Faculty Brunch at 11:30 a.m. on May 14. The brunch honors all FHSU graduating students and is sponsored by the Alumni Association. The association, established in 1916, is dedicated to identifying and serving the needs of more than 36,000 graduates living throughout the United States and 61 foreign countries.

The 2004 Pilot Award nominees are listed in alphabetical order.

Micki Armstrong, instructor in the Department of Sociology and Social Work, has been at FHSU since Jan. 14, 1998.
Rose Arnhold, associate professor and chair of the Department of Sociology and Social Work, has been at FHSU since Sept. 1, 1968.
