Kathryn Wallert, Russell graduate student in clinical psychology at Fort Hays State University, has been named the 2004-2005 recipient of the Psi Chi Kay Wilson Leadership Award for Outstanding Chapter Presidents.

Wallert, who graduated from FHSU in 2005 with a bachelor of science in psychology, will receive her award at the American Psychology Association/Psi Chi National Convention in Washington, D.C., in August.

The award includes all expenses for Wallert to attend the convention, where she will also be presented with a $500 cash award and an engraved plaque.

She will also give a presentation on leadership at the awards ceremony.

Wallert served as president of the FHSU Psi Chi Chapter from 2003-2005.
