TECA students compete in Salt Lake City

HAYS, KS -- Student members of Fort Hays State University's Technology Education Collegiate Association (TECA) chapter attended the International TECA Conference and Competitions in April.

Approximately 18 universities from across the country attended and competed at the conference.

FHSU students earned second-place finishes in the Live Manufacturing Contest sponsored by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the Technology Challenge Contest. The students were also named the TECA Outstanding Chapter for the fourth consecutive year.

JEWELL: Eric Bourbon, senior.
KENSINGTON: Justin Bearley, junior.
MANKATO: Jason Basel, senior.
MULVANE: Brad Canfield, junior.
SMITH CENTER: Matt Smith, senior.
