HAYS, KS -- Marla S. Stabb, clinical coordinator of the Herndon Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic in the Department of Communication Disorders at Fort Hays State University, has been appointed the new chair of the Kansas Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Advisory Board for the 2000-01 year.

Staab has been a member of the board since 1997. The board advises the secretary of health and environment on standards, rules, regulations, and other aspects of licensure.
