FHSU's Department of Information Networking and Telecommunications adds 2 Web certificate programs

Fort Hays State University, a national leader in online learning, is pleased to announce two new online certificates serving working professionals who seek skills and credentials in Web development.

The certificates are in Web Development and in E-Commerce Web Development.

The Certificate in Web Development is designed for the person who seeks the skills to create high-end Web sites with strong design and functional abilities. Such sites are used for e-commerce, data services, internal organization workflow, multimedia distribution and other uses where information is provided or gathered. This certificate includes design as well as coding courses.

The Certificate in E-Commerce Web Development is designed for the person who seeks the skills to create an e-commerce site and who desires to understand the fundamentals of e-commerce marketing and strategy.

Both certificates will initially be offered as undergraduate certificates as of the summer 2004 semester, but are also expected to be offered at the graduate level in the near future.
