As part of a colloquium series, Fort Hays State University's Department of Philosophy is sponsoring the discussion "Same Sex Marriage: A Queer Critique," from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct, 28, at the Hays Public Library.
Kent Brintnall, adjunct instructor of bioethics, is the guest speaker. Britnall has a bachelor's degree in philosophy from FHSU, a juris doctorate from Northeastern School of Law in Boston and a master's degree from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. Currently he is pursuing a doctoral degree in religion at Emory University in Atlanta.
The first part of the meeting will be devoted to the presentation, followed by a question-and-answer period. The event is free and open to the public. |
