Agriculture honor society elects officers

Fort Hays State University's chapter of Delta Tau Alpha, the agriculture honor society, has elected officers for the 2004 to 2005 academic year.

Karen Bortner, Culbertson, NE., junior, was elected president; Jody Gienger, St. Francis senior, was elected vice-president; Kyle Berning, Lakin junior, was elected secretary; and Clayton Schmeidler, Hays junior, was elected treasurer.

In order to join the society, students must have completed at least 45 credit hours (at least nine of which must be agriculture hours) and must rank in the top 35 percent of their classes.
