Several faculty members in FHSU's Department of Psychology traveled to the 112th Annual Convention of the American Psychological Association July 28 to Aug. 1 in Honolulu, HI.
Psychology Department Chair Dr. Carol Patrick Land, Gina Smith, instructor of psychology, and Kaira Hayes, assistant professor of psychology, presented "Advanced General Psychology: A Toolkit For Student Success," a description of a course that originated at FHSU.
Additionally, Hayes has been invited to write an article about the presentation for the journal Teaching of Psychology.
Also at the convention, Amy Duncan-Allen, Fayetteville, AR, special graduate student, and Patrick presented "Parents With Behaviorally Disordered Children: Motives, Life Satisfaction and Self-Worth." |
