HAYS, KS - Several Fort Hays State University students attended the 31st annual conference for the Kansas Association of Teachers of Science (KATS) from April 28-30 at Rock Springs Ranch in Junction City.

Jessica Schlick, Colby junior; Jaimi Hutchinson, Tescott senior, and Dr. Germaine Taggart, assistant professor of teacher education, presented a session titled "The Hardhat Crew: Constructive and Destructive Forces."

Taggart also presented a session on graphic organizers at the Executive Board Share-A-Thon at the conference.
