HAYS, KS -- Assistant professor Jo Ann Doan from the Department of Nursing at Fort Hays State University was recently recognized for excellence by the Helene Fuld Summer Institute in Rural Community Health Nursing and was awarded a fellowship.

The review committee considered candidate geography, rural connection, and degree of growth in expertise, experience and dissemination of information.
