FHSU students to take part in Midwest Model United Nations Conference in St. Louis

Students involved in Fort Hays State University's Model United Nations club will be in St. Louis, MO, Feb. 17-22 to participate in this years Midwest Model United Nations Conference.

The Midwest Model United Nations was started in 1960 and is an all-collegiate organization that is dedicated to the concept of a "Venture in Practical Education," by giving students a chance to deal with today's pressing international political issues by representing the role of a nations delegation to the United Nations.

Students who will be attending the MMUNC are listed below by hometown and classification:

Hartford: Karisa Stein, junior.
Hutchinson: Melissa Moses, senior.
Lenora: Diane Becker, junior.
Marrakech, Morocco: Intessar Fakir, junior.
Palco: Travis Lovelady, junior.
Scott City: Candice Palen, senior.
St. Peters, MO: Joshua Snider, junior.
Tipton: Sarah Smith, senior.
