Brian Kinnaird, instructor of justice studies at Fort Hays State University, was named one of the winners of an Exemplary Course competition sponsored by the Kansas Technology Learning Symposium and the Kansas Blackboard Users Group.

Kinnaird's design for a criminal investigation class was tied for first in the Web-based category with a social work course at Wichita State University.
