Studio Gallery exhibit features works by 13 FHSU art majors

Two-dimensional works by 13 Fort Hays State University art majors will be exhibited at The Studio Gallery, 900 Main, through the month of January in an exhibit titled "Mark Making."

The featured drawings were created by students during the fall 2003 semester in an advanced drawing course taught by Allen Craven, assistant professor of art.

The student artists in the exhibit are Cynthia Balmer, Hays senior; Micah Craven, Hays senior; Nora Culver, Hays senior; Matt Eberle, Hays senior; Crystal Hammerschmidt, Smolan junior; Esther Hibler, Olathe senior; Brian Hutchinson, Russell special student; Yomiko Komori, Gifu-Shi, Japan, senior; Lisa Lilienthal, Culbertson, NE, special student; Erin Maupin, Natoma senior; Adam Moos, Salina senior; Chris Schroeder, Hutchinson special student; and Dagan Sherman, Hays senior.

An opening reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16, at The Studio Gallery.
