Associate professor accepted into national art exhibitions

Gordon K. Sherman, associate professor of art at Fort Hays State University, has been accepted into four national art exhibitions.

Sherman will have a piece titled "Propaganda Portrait 32" at 60 Square Inches, an exhibition that will run at Purdue University Galleries in West Lafayette, IN, from March 8-April 25.

The Pacific States Biennial National Print Exhibition at the University of Hawaii at Hilo Center Campus Gallery in Hilo, HI, will have one of Sherman's pieces, "Eastern Wind P+B 2," on display from Feb. 6-April 9.

"Eastern Wind P+B 2" is currently on display at The 4th Minnesota Print Biennial in the Katherine E. Nash Gallery in Minneapolis, MN. It will be on display there until Feb. 19.

The 19th annual Greater Midwest International Exhibition at the Central Missouri State University Art Center Gallery in Warrensburg, MO, currently has another of Sherman's works, "Leap of Faith." The exhibition will run until Feb. 27.
