Legislators, members of the Kansas Board of Regents and citizens from western Kansas will gather in Topeka on Wednesday, Jan. 28, for Fort Hays State University's annual breakfast to discuss issues that may affect the western part of the state.
The breakfast is scheduled for 7 a.m. in the Capitol, room 519 South, in Topeka.
Dr. Edward H. Hammond, FHSU president, and Debra Prideaux, FHSU's director of alumni and governmental relations, will be the hosts for the breakfast. Space is somewhat limited, so reservations are encouraged by sending e-mail to the FHSU Alumni Association at email@example.com or by calling the alumni office at (785) 628-4430.
The annual breakfast provides an excellent opportunity to discuss ways to support legislative efforts that affect FHSU, higher education in general, western Kansas and the state as a whole.
Reservations are due by Monday, Jan. 26. There is no cost to attend.
