Holiday wonders offered through FHSU Christmas science show

The National Science Teachers Association invites students, staff, faculty and the public to take a break from their Christmas shopping and marvel at the seasonal scientific wonders that will be explained at Santa's Science Secrets from 4-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in Tomanek Hall, room 106.

Guests will learn how cabbage juice can be used to make a rainbow of colors to add to a Christmas tree, the science behind Twas the Night Before Christmas and many other seasonal marvels during the lively and entertaining science demonstration.

Following the show, from 5-6 p.m., will be a holiday reception in the Plymouth Schoolhouse.

This event is sponsored by the Anschutz Professor of Education and the student chapter of the National Science Teachers Association.
