Dr. Suzanne Vesely, copyright/reference librarian at Fort Hays State University?s Forsyth Library, has been selected as the 2003 recipient of the Beginning Professional Award for the College and University Libraries Section of the Kansas Library Association.

Mac Reed, government documents librarian at Forsyth Library, recommended her for the award.

In the award letter, Janet Anderson-Story, awards committee chair, wrote, ?Your work on copyright issues is outstanding and you are highly recommended.?

The award will be presented during the fall business meeting at the CULS conference from Oct. 23-24 in Wichita.
