FHSU assistant professor presents at forum in Washington, D.C.

Fort Hays State University's Robert Scott, assistant professor of special education, presented a workshop titled "Encouraging Civil Discourse with Logical Conversation" on Friday, Oct. 17, at American University in Washington, DC, during a forum for Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages.

The forum,"Teachers Building a Culture of Peace: Classroom Responses to War and Terrorism," was hosted by American University.

Scott was invited to share conversational activities utilizing his main area of research, discourse flowcharts.
