Lana Stueve, Fort Hays State University senior, received a $500 RAWHIDE scholarship from the Rodeo Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. Stueve is a breakaway roper for the FHSU rodeo team, the Rodeo Club treasurer and a health and physical education major. She has also had a 4.0 GPA throughout college.

The RAWHIDE award is given to one male and one female NIRA rodeo athlete who demonstrate positive choices, commitment to personal fitness and a balance of rodeo and academic and career goals.
