Fort Hays State University's Office of Financial Assistance reminds all FHSU students to update their e-mail addresses, physical mailing addresses and other contact information by Oct. 1, 2003, so that 2004-2005 renewal financial aid applications or PIN numbers may be delivered to students in a timely manner.
The PIN mailers for access to the 2004-2005 renewal Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the Web site will be mailed or e-mailed to students if one of the three following requirements were met: the applicant used the Web to file or make a correction to their 2003-2004 application, the applicant indicated on the 2003-2004 FAFSA a grade level in college equal to fifth-year undergraduate, first-year graduate, professional or higher student, or if the school requested that a PIN instead of a paper renewal FAFSA be sent to the student. Students who do not meet any of the above criteria will get a paper Renewal FAFSA in the mail.
For students to ensure that all mailed materials are sent to the correct location they should confirm they have provided the most current e-mail and physical mailing address information to the Central Processing System by Oct. 1, 2003. Students can do this by visiting the FAFSA Web site at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Contact information can be viewed via the Student Access section of the site and updated via the Corrections.
For more information or questions about the use of FAFSA on the Web, 1-800-4-FED-AID or contact FHSU at (785) 628-4408.
