Alumni Award recipients to present seminars

Seminars on topics ranging from no-till farming to mammals, museums and natural history will be various seminars presented by Fort Hays State University 2003 Alumni Award recipients.

Doug Palen, Young Alumni Award recipient, will present "No-Till Around the World" at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, in Davis Hall, room 208.

Marilyn Snider, Alumni Achievement Award recipient, will present "Strategic Planning: Is it for You?" at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, in the Black and Gold Room of the Memorial Union.

Dr. Michael Bogan, FHSU Alumni Achievement Award recipient, will give a presentation titled "Mammals, Museums, Natural History and Me" at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, in Albertson Hall, room 169.

The public is invited to attend the seminars.

Another Young Alumni Award winner, Dr. Rob Channell, assistant professor of biological sciences, presented "A Geography of Extinction" on Monday.
