Rep. Doug Mays, R-Topeka, speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives, will conduct a town hall meeting Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 4:30 p.m. in the Stouffer Lounge of Fort Hays State University's Memorial Union.

Mays will address streamlining the state's sales tax and other topics that arise for Hays and surrounding communities. He and his staff encourage area legislators and the general public to attend. Rep. Dan Johnson, R-Hays, will introduce Mays.
