Fort Hays State University's Matt Jarvis, Phillipsburg senior, placed fourth individually in the nation in total points at the 51st Annual College National Finals Rodeo from June 8-14 at the Casper Events Center in Casper, WY.

Jarvis competed in "Bulls and Broncs," scoring enough total points to qualify for the short round. Falling just short of recording a score, he took fifth place in the nation in total points scored on the bulls.

As a team, FHSU's men's took 23rd place out of 37 teams competing. No women qualified for the finals rodeo.
