Classical repertoire, American music, Patriotic features and Broadway tunes will permeate the air of the Fort Hays State University Quad on Tuesday, June 17, at 7:30 p.m. as the FHSU/Hays City Band kicks off its summer concert series.

Performances will continue on Thursday, June 19, in Ellis, Tuesday, June 24, at WaKeeney, and Friday, July 4, at Historic Fort Hays. All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Jeff Jordan, FHSU Director of Bands, Dr. Robert Conger, FHSU Associate Director of Bands, Renetta Dawson, Ellis High School Director of Bands, Craig Manteuffel, Hays High School Director of Bands and Kelly Conger will conduct the concerts.

Admission is free and all concerts are open to the public.
