Monotype prints, hand-built books and journals to go on display at Hays Art Council

Watercolor monotype prints and hand-constructed books and journals produced by students at summer workshops conducted by two Fort Hays State University art professors will be on display at the Hays Arts Council from June 27 through the month of July.

Gordon K. Sherman, associate professor of art, and Karrie Simpson-Voth, assistant professor of art, instructed the workshops.

An opening reception for the exhibit is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 27 at the Hays Arts Council galleries, 112 E. 11th. The public is invited.
