FHSU students visit agribusiness firms

Several Fort Hays State University students from the Agribusiness Firms Management and Marketing class recently toured agribusiness firms in Dodge City and Cimarron.

"This trip is an important part of the course and will be a good learning experience for these students as they will be seeing many things that cannot be duplicated in the classroom," said Dr. Brent Spaulding, associate professor of agriculture.

Students visited the Excel beef packing plant in Dodge City and the Royal Dairy in Cimarron.
