Financial planner Max Bruce, Leawood, was recently selected for membership in the Fort Hays State University Endowment Association Board of Trustees.
Bruce, who earned a bachelor of business administration from FHSU in 1970, is the owner of Focus Financial Group. He is a member of the Underwriters Million Dollar Roundtable.
He is also a member of the Endowment Association's Lyman Dwight Wooster Society, which recognizes individuals who, through estate planning, make a significant contribution to the future of FHSU. Bruce's wife, Ruth, also attended FHSU.
The FHSU Endowment Association is a non-profit organization that raises funds to support and promote educational undertaking at Fort Hays State University. Gifts donated to the Association, and income generated from those gifts, are used for scholarships, loans, departmental programs, faculty development and overall enrichment of the university.
