Integrating technology into the curriculum at six nearby school districts was the intent of the grants that were written by Fort Hays State University's Regi Wieland, director of Fort Hays Educational Development Center, and Cynthia Danner-Kuhn, clinical instructor of teacher education.

Of the 11 grants the state awarded, Wieland and Danner-Kuhn received three, being the only writers to get multiple grants.

The grants, which are $150,000 each, will go towards enhancing the technology in the partnerships of the Phillipsburg and Bird City, Ellis and Hanston, and Victoria and Kinsley school districts.

"I'm really excited about this opportunity," said Danner-Kuhn. "I've always believed that technology can enhance our classrooms."
