Micki Armstrong, instructor in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Fort Hays State University, presented a workshop titled "An Introduction to Cultural Competence in Mediation" at the February meeting of the Heartland Mediators Association in Topeka, KS.

The goal of the workshop was to provide an overview, to make mediators aware of the different sides of cultural diversity and where to find information and assistance when it is needed.
