Fort Hays State University students went on an agricultural resource valuation class field trip March 12.
Students who went on the trip participated in simulated farmland appraisal activities at the university farm and other locations in the surrounding area.
"The students were able to gain hands-on experience by doing mock land appraisals with the help of a professional appraiser," said Dr. Brent Spaulding, associate professor of agriculture. "This experience helped them learn more about land appraisals."
